Deposiq is building the neutral layer that runs the whole life of a security deposit — any method, never a percentage. We start in European hospitality and rentals, a market run by hand.
Security deposits are taken millions of times a day across European hospitality, car and equipment rental — the first money that changes hands, often with an international guest. Today it’s improvised: cash, an untracked card hold, a bank transfer chased in a spreadsheet.
The category has no neutral, method-agnostic standard. Existing tools are narrow (card-hold only, single-PSP) and take a percentage of the deposit. That leaves the fair, universal layer open — and that is the position Deposiq is built to hold.
Stripe and Mollie made it possible to run deposits on the operator’s own account. Deposiq runs the process and never holds funds — software economics, no money-transmitter regulation in step one.
Card hold, cash, bank transfer or terminal — all tracked the same way. The tourist without a usable card is no longer a lost booking, and the operator keeps one clean record.
A flat €1 per deposit, never a cut and never a fee to return it. Trust with both sides is the product — and the wedge against percentage-based incumbents.
Flat per-deposit usage plus optional subscription (Pro, Enterprise). Recurring, usage-linked, and independent of the deposit amount.
The system of record — evidence, disputes, audit trail, returns — sits with us across every method and every booking. That’s sticky where a single card-hold tool is not.
From hospitality and rentals to any business that holds a deposit — property, events, mobility — across borders and currencies. One layer, many verticals.
The product is live: multi-method deposits, connected Stripe/Mollie, evidence and disputes, bank reconciliation, a full audit trail. The first pilot is running with a real hospitality operator, and the go-to-market engine — content, SEO and direct outreach in the rental vertical — is being built now.
Deposiq is built by an operator who takes deposits every day, not a lab — we run our own business on it. We’re early, and that is the point: the standard for this category has not been set.
We’re speaking with early-stage investors who back European vertical SaaS and payments-adjacent products. A deck and a live walkthrough are available on request.
